A one-of-a-kind program in Valencia, Spain, the ACROSS BRIDGES PIANO SUMMER ACADEMY gathers students from all over the world for a challenging seven-day program comprised of individual piano lessons, early keyboard workshops and recitals. The academy is an intensive and selective educational experience for young piano students and auditing teachers seeking to advance their interpretative abilities and their understanding of early keyboard repertoire and piano technique.

A maximum of 16 students will spend five full days in daily practice sessions, lessons & workshops with our esteemed faculty. The curriculum will include daily private piano lessons, two workshops on early keyboards, lectures on performance practice and Spanish lessons. Students will also have access to guided tours of the magical city of Valencia, attend three faculty recitals and perform on a final student concert. Additionally, two candidates from the student body will be selected by faculty members to perform and attend master classes and concerts in October 2018 at the prestigious Geelvinck Fortepiano Festival in the Netherlands.www.geelvinckfestival.nl Most academic activities will take place at the outstanding installations of our partner institution, the Academia de Piano Tony Pascual (www.tonipascual.com)
